Photography Studies

I don’t like shooting in a studio; what truly attracts me is trying to capture a personal moment or reveal something about a person they didn’t even know about themselves. There’s a type of feeling, a serenity in life, that appears in brief moments when we aren’t thinking about all the problems around us, a pause in the absurdity of being alive. Here are some photos from the vacation I spent with my family (deep in the countryside of Minas Gerais) in Milan. How we got there is a story in itself.

Candid Portrait in Urban Passage – Black and White Photography by Rodrigo Baumgratz Captured on a narrow street in Milan, this black and white portrait centers on a solitary figure amidst an active urban backdrop. Rodrigo Baumgratz balances emotional subtlety with compositional restraint, highlighting human presence within the flow of city life. Ideal for editorial portraits, documentary-style campaigns, or projects exploring identity in public space.
